Employability
Our teaching model is designed to ensure our students' employability.
The benefits of work-study training
Work-study? At CSB.SCHOOL, it starts at Bac+3. It allows our students to develop their professional skills and start building their professional network, a key asset for a successful career in cybersecurity.
We prepare you for the business world
Our school has been designed to reproduce an environment similar to the one found in a company. Our training modules are prepared and delivered by working professionals, and most of the administrative team comes from a cybersecurity background. This guarantees a strong connection to the cybersecurity world, both in the company and at our school.
A model designed to strengthen employability
The instructional design of the certification pathway is built to help learners become progressively more autonomous, while providing structured, human and professional support that is ideal for boosting employability.
The role of the teaching teams
The teaching team is made up of professionals with hands-on experience of the target profession, as employees or employers. All trainers also have several years of experience in the target profession. Their role goes beyond simply passing on knowledge: they act as project mentors, learning facilitators and guarantors of the link with professional realities.
Certification session manager
Each session is supervised by a programme lead, who coordinates the whole scheme. They are the learners' main point of contact throughout their skills development.
Trainer professional development and monitoring
Because cybersecurity professions are constantly evolving, trainers need ongoing support for their professional development. This approach aims to maintain strong teaching consistency across the teams, anticipate changes in the sector and guarantee the quality of the programmes across all certification sessions.
Immersion in the professional world
Job matching
We know how complicated it can be to find a work-study placement. To avoid the stress of searching and to make sure our students get a quality placement, far from the printer and the coffee machine, we put you in touch with our partner companies.
Induction period
Before joining their company, students spend 2 weeks full-time on our campus. This time is essential to start getting to know the world of cybersecurity and to build bonds between students. During these weeks, one day is dedicated to presenting the campus and our instructors, and the rest is organised as follows:
- Theory classes
- Practical classes
- Discussions with cyber experts
- Preparing to join the company
- Discovering student life on campus
Are you already on a work-study contract with a company, or can your employer take you on as a work-study student? Contact us. We will take care of the continuity of your assignment.
Do I need a good level of English?
Yes, a good level of English is essential at our school. Most resources, research and international collaboration in cybersecurity are in English, which ensures a better understanding of, and integration into, the global cybersecurity field.
Do students stay with the same company?
On the Cybersecurity Specialist programme (Bac+3), we encourage students to change company to broaden their horizons and refine their career plans. However, it is possible to stay with the same company throughout the programme. On the Cybersecurity Manager programme (Bac+5), students spend both years of study with the same company, barring constraints or force majeure.
